Every year around the holidays we like to do something special with our tanning and spray tan customers to benefit kids in need, in previous years we worked with Wild 94.1 to sponsor and contribute to Toys for Tots. This year we wanted to work with one of our local hospitals that provide incredible care to children with medical needs, All Children’s Hospital is the perfect choice.
All Children’s Hospital is the premier care center for children with severe illness.
How to Help During Toys for Tans
Starting Friday December 17, 2010 we will begin collecting Toys for Tans at all six of our Extreme Tan and Smoothies locations, donations will be accepted from Friday December 17th right through Sunday December 19th. We will have large toy collection boxes at each location clearly marked for accepting toys for our Toys for Tans event.
Donation Information
- All Children’s Hospital patients range in age from birth to 21 years
- Approximately 60% of All Children’s patients are three years and under
- All toys MUST BE newly purchased due to safety/infection concerns
- Toys and stuffed animals exposed to smoke cannot be accepted
- Donations should be unwrapped, new and in original packaging
Donated items may be used as gifts to individual patients, utilized in playrooms, support groups, as in-room activities for patients and in conjunction with therapies.

Existing Tanning Bed Clients
1 new, unwrapped toy = 1 Free Upgrade to Any Bed
3 new, unwrapped toys = 5 Free Upgrades to Any Bed
5 new, unwrapped toys = $20 Off any bottle of tanning lotion
New Tanning Bed Clients
1 new, unwrapped toy = 1 Free tan
5 new, unwrapped toys= $15 Off any bottle of tanning lotion
10 new, unwrapped toys = 2 weeks of free tanning
Spray Tan Clients
3 new, unwrapped toys = 1 Free spray tan
5 new, unwrapped toys = 3 Free spray tans
Please keep in mind that all though there is no limit to how many toys you can donate, the daily limit will be based on denominations above. In the event that you wish to donate more than one toy, the maximum number of tans or discounts that any tanning client can receive is 1 free tan, item or discount per each of the 3 days.

I think this is great your helping kids that need this and their parents too my son was in all childrens for 2 weeks he died 3 times had heart surgery at 4 days old so i know how the parents feel and to have someone do such a gracious thing for them helps alot wether anyone thinks so or not but i think this is a great idea
