There’s three different kinds of tanning lotions – bronzers, accelerators and tingle lotions. Today, I’m going over the tingle lotions. In the next few posts, I’ll be going over the others.
Tingle lotions were named after the tingling sensation that you feel on your skin after you apply the lotion. The tingling brings blood to the surface of your skin which in turn brings oxygen to the surface to affect the melanin in your skin. The more that the melanin is affected, the darker the tan.
For most people, your skin will be red, like you have a sunburn for about an hour after tanning. However, the red will g away unless you’re a person, like me, who has sensitive skin. It’s a good idea to test it out n a small section of your skin to see the results before applying it all over your body.
