Tan Lines Gone Wrong

Every once and a while we like to break things up here on our little tan blog, so we take a break from the normal tanning information and tanning tips. I know, we have some nerve right?
Just the other day I was surfing around and looking at some of the different search terms and keywords being used in regards to tan lines when I came across this tan lines picture, I know I have personally seen this picture before and I am sure that many of you have too. When it comes to tan lines most people would probably imagine sexy tan lines or tan lines that look attractive, the tanning lines picture from below might not fall into that category.
Tan Lines Picture
I guess it is safe to say that the guy in this picture is not using a stand-up tanning bed in order to avoid tan lines from pressure points that a tanning bed might leave, it’s also safe to say that he certainly doesn’t tan naked. I will say he did end up with some nice color in the areas that his skin was not protected from the sun, it would have been nice to see the “before tan” picture as I am sure that was one interesting sun burn to look at.
Have you ever had an embarrassing sun burn or funny tan lines from something you wore outside? Leave a comment and share your tan line experience with us, if you like our blog you might want to take a moment to subscribe to our mailing list or become a fan of our Facebook Fan Page, we love interacting with everyone.
Tanning Tip of the Day
Always use sunblock when working or tanning outdoors in order to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays, in addition to that…. Don’t wear your trucker hat backwards when your outside doing yard work or laying on the beach, the results can be pretty funny based on the picture above.

haha that’s a great picture! The worst tan lines I get are from swimsuit tops. I hate when it looks like you still have your swimsuit top on when you’re wearing a strapless dress. Not a good look.

This guy should have left his cap on for the photograph. He really does have some great color where the sun shone through.
I used to “paint” a heart in a private area with zinc oxide when I was tanning. I may be lame, but I thought it looked pretty cool. The ladies at least pretended to like it. That was hidden from view, though.
This guy could probably have a cooler design if he wanted to work at it. That might be a new product, tanning hats with custom design holes.

I’ve been caught out a few times wearing pink zinc cream in the sun for a full day. It looks sexy at the beach, but leaves a rather nasty tan line on your face and it takes ages to go away.
