When you go into a tanning salon, you’re going to have to choose between standing up in a booth or laying down in a bed while you tan. For most people it’s a personal preference. Some people like one over the other, while others will mix it up each time they visit the tanning salon.

Standing up in a booth does allow you you to get a more full tan over you whole body since your skin isn’t pressed up against the plexiglass. However, you’re forced to stand up for the entire tanning session, which can be anywhere from few minutes to over twenty minutes long. You had to admit that can be draining, especially after a long day.

The other choice is a bed where you can actually lay down. You can relax and even sleep. However along with comfort also comes the possibility of an uneven tan. If you don’t move while you’re tanning, it’s possible to get parts of your body that comeout darker than others. The best idea is to shift your weight around as you lay in the bed so that any one area isn’t over exposed. Or you can lay on your back during one session and for the next, you lay on your stomach making sure that you get a full, overall tan that way.

The best idea might be to try both and see what you like the best.
