Here at Extreme Tan and Smoothies we know that it can get very confusing trying to keep up with the newest in social networking but we’re here to help! Often times companies like us here at Extreme Tan and Smoothies like to run contests where entrants have to tweet something using their Twitter account and report back with a Twitter URL. Today’s “how to” article will teach you how to find the url of your tweet so that you can post it for others to see!

How Do You Find the URL of a Tweet

Being unable to find a link to a specific “tweet” on your account is not a problem that only “newbies” to the technological world have, in fact some people who have been working online for years often ask the same question! Since you already know how to set up your Twitter account and how to connect with others through Twitter, today we will talk about how you can find the URL to a specific tweet.

As you can see in the image above each time a tweet is posted using a Twitter account, underneath that tweet appears a time stamp. If you hold your mouse cursor over the time stamp you will see a URL appear in the status bar at the bottom of your browser – this is the URL for that specific tweet. To copy this URL all you need to do is right click the time stamp and select “copy URL.” You have now copied the URL of the specific tweet to your clipboard and it can be pasted wherever you like!

Final Twitter URL Thoughts

Finding a Twitter URL is easy enough if you know what you are looking for but often times no one knows where to look!
