Is the tanning bed better then laying out in the sun?
Tanning in a tanning bed is different than tanning in the sun even though both forms of tanning offer exposure to UV rays. One of the largest differences between tanning in a bed and the sun is that tanning in a tanning bed or tanning salon allows you to tan in a controlled environment. Tanning in a controlled environment reduces the risks of over-exposure to harmful UV rays
How often can I tan?
You can tan as often as you would like, but only once in a 24 hour period.
Do I have to use tanning lotion in the tanning bed?
Tanning lotion is not needed to tan in a tanning bed, but in order to get the best results of tanning we always recommend that you use a lotion to help boost your tan and keep your skin hydrated.
How long should I tan for if I have never tanned before?
We recommend 7 minutes for a first time tanner.
What kind of lotion should I use?
If you have never tanned before we usually recommend something with an accelerator which will boost your tan and slowly move into using lotions with bronzers or tingle factors.
Is tanning going to harm my tattoos?
Yes. If you do not protect your tattoo from UV rays it will fade, however we offer a tattoo guard which is designed to be put on before going into the tanning bed or sunlight to prevent it from fading.
Why do I need to buy eyewear?
It is Florida State Law that you have to have eye wear before tanning. All of our extreme locations offer a variety of eye wear for your safety.
Is it ok to flip in the tanning bed?
The tanning beds are designed so you do not have to flip in a bed.
Where should I store my lotion?
In a cool dry area, If exposed to heat this can cause lotion to go bad and develop a fungus inside the bottle.
How do I get rid of the lines on the sides of my body?
Using a Stand Up bed removes all lines on the sides of your body, underarms, and any other part of the body. You should rotate from using a regular tanning bed and a stand up every few days to keep your tan consistent.
