Before even putting the tanning lotion on, wash and or exfoliate your skin to get rid of an dead skin. This allows the tanning lotion to be spread all over your body.
With the tanning lotion, start by applying it to a small area of skin, then rub it generously and evenly until all of your skin is covered. Don’t just rub it in a straight line, rub in a circular manner for best results.
