Even though we are right in the middle of our Relapse Tanning Event at all six Pinellas County Florida Extreme Tan and Smoothies we wanted to take a moment and post the pictures from our Blackout Friday Tanning Event. Before we get to the pictures we would like to thank everyone that showed their support for Extreme by coming out last night, some of you were even nice enough to bring baked cookies and other fun treats, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Indoor Tanning Pictures
One of the first pictures of the night was taken about 30 minutes before the doors opened at our Clearwater tanning salon located on Highland Ave. and Belaire Rd. (727-449-2660). Behind the counter you can see Jessica, Shayna and Kristen getting ready for the doors to open.

Our Blackout Friday event has always been one our favorite events amongst our associates, a few of the girls of Extreme Tan and Smoothies decided to slap on some florescent body paint.

The line began forming for our 6pm Blackout Friday opening somewhere around 5:20pm, as I pulled up to our North Clearwater tanning salon (727-723-2660) the line had already stretched past one of our strip mall neighbors Pizza Hut.

We are constantly posting indoor tanning information and the latest specials on indoor tanning products, spray tanning and tanning packages and every once in a while we have a chance to do something fun like share a Behind the Scenes picture or video with all of our blog readers and Florida tanning salon customers.

We happen to be in the middle of releasing a huge advertising campaign for Extreme Tan and Smoothies, we are pushing out some tremendous offers for Back to School and Homecoming. Our ad campaign started with a social media campaign on Twitter, Facebook, My Space, our blogs and 100′s of other internet based sites.
Once the initial release was completed on the web and the hundreds of places we market online we moved on to a 100,000 drop full page print ad in America’s Favorite Coupon Book. With the first couple of stages already under way for our gorilla marketing campaign it’s now time for the Billboard ad’s, I decided to change things up from our traditional billboard ads and do something that is fun for the girls that work at the tanning salons.
We decided to feature two girls from one of our salons each on their own billboard that will be placed around different areas of Clearwater, Largo, Seminole and St. Petersburg Florida in just a few days. I decided to tweet pictures of the girls before, during and after the professional shoot that Clear Channel Outdoor was doing, it’s always a blast doing business with Mike Barbaro from Clear Channel.

We are hoping to have Lakin as one of the girls on the next billboard, but Lakin’s super shy and hasn’t made her decision yet. Who knows maybe a few of you can show your support for Melissa and Kandra and leave a comment letting Lakin know you would like to see her do it, you never know she might read the blog and say… “Hey why not!”

Valentine’s Day has come and gone and everyone at Extreme Tan and Smoothies would like to thank all of you our valued customers that came out to support us on Saturday for Valentines Day at our Pinellas Park Tanning location. Even though we had wild 98.7 come out to our new indoor tanning location in Pinellas Park along with the Street Team and of course Alli “That Girl” we had an amazing turn out at all of our Tanning Salons. If it were not for all of you, we would not have had a successful event. Now with the mushy stuff out of the way let’s talk about a few things that went on at the Pinellas Park Extreme Tan and Smoothies Valentine’s Day Event.
As mentioned above we had Wild 98.7 Live at our Pinellas Park location, we also had Insane Limos bring out the Pink hummer Limo that our Tanning customers seem to love. Here is a picture of the Wild 98.7 tent in front of the Extreme Tan on Park Boulevard and of course this picture has the Barbie Pink Hummer Limo in it as well.

We figured we might as well get a quick and always fun event in before we start getting ready for Prom Tanners and High School Students looking to get a tan for prom. As you can see there were plenty of you there to support us at our new location, we also had Doug Everett Ballons come out as well as some really amazing Baloon Art.

As we close the door on one excellent event and thank all of you one more time for coming out to support us in record numbers, thank you. This can only mean we are one step closer to Spring Break and all of the exciting High School Proms in Pinellas County, Florida. We have the perfect Spring Break and Prom Tanning Specials with Gauranteed low prices, we do the shopping so you don’t have to. Our next event is set for Saturday February 28, 2009 at our NEW Seminole Florida Tanning Salon. We just realized that as we get ready for our second Grand Opening Celebration at our Pinellas Park Extreme Tan and Smoothies location that we never posted the pictures from our Grand Opening on January 17th. Hey give us a little breather we were in the middle of opening a brand new Indoor Tanning Salon as well as getting ready for the Tanning Season and the up coming Grand Opening of our Seminole location.
