We have a lot of exciting things going on this weekend that we wanted to keep everyone up to date with, this Saturday at our Pinellas Park tanning salon we are celebrating our 1 year anniversary with amazing indoor tanning, spray tanning and tanning lotion specials. Typically we celebrate our Grand Opening events in May and celebrate Extreme Tan and Smoothies birthday with a big bash, the first Extreme location opened in 2004 with our Largo Florida tanning salon.
Celebrating and having special events or customer appreciation days at one specific store always turns out to be a blast, this time around we wanted to have everyone get in on the fun by having a mini tanning event at all six of our Pinellas County Florida tanning salons.
Free Tanning Weekend
THIS Saturday and Sunday jump in to any of our six Extreme Tan and Smoothies locations and tan for free in any of our 20 minute extreme tanning beds with optional high pressure face tanners. The party might be at our Pinellas Park tanning salon location on Saturday January 23, 2010, but the celebration will go on at every Extreme Tan and Smoothies location. The exciting things around Extreme Tan and Smoothies never seem to stop, we are coming off of our record setting Tan for a Can event and of course we are still running our Free tanning for Seminole High School students.
Over the last 5 years Extreme Tan and Smoothies has teamed up with Wild 94.1, Toys for Tots and our tanning clients to help families in need and most importantly help children experience the joys of the holiday season in some of the toughest times. This year will be a little different than previous years where we simply had the collection boxes for Toys for Tots, this year we are the official sponsor of the holiday toy drive.
Toys for Tans Free Tanning Event
Donate an unopened toy valued at $5 or more for Toys for Tots at any of our six Extreme Tan and Smoothies locations from December 14th through December 19th and Extreme will hook you up with 7 days of FREE TANNING for helping children in need during the holiday season. There is no limit to how many toys that one tanning client can donate, you will receive 7 days of free tanning in any of our 20 minute extreme tanning beds.
Your free tanning will kick off as soon as you make your donation in any of clearly marked Toys for Tots boxes that can be found in any of our six Pinellas County Florida tanning locations, please note that tanning packages cannot be shared, frozen or put on hold.

This past weekend Extreme Tan and Smoothies held it’s first ever Tan for a Can free tanning event, and thanks to all of you our valued clients we will be donating over 600 cans of food to Metropolitan Ministries in Tampa Florida.
I was so personally blown away by how many donations came in to each and every one of our six indoor tanning salon locations in Pinellas County Florida that I instantly had to take all of the cans out of the boxes and take a picture so that everyone can share in the excitement of knowing that so many families in need won’t go hungry this holiday season.

Extreme Tan and Smoothies Hospitality Team rushed into small business’s in St. Petersburg Florida yesterday to hand out free tanning bed cards that offer 2 weeks of free tanning in any of our 20 minute upgraded tanning beds. After such a warm welcome for our Hospitality Team that offered free tanning in Seminole Florida we were excited to see how well everything would go when we put a new hospitality team together for our St. Petersburg tanning event, everything went great.

Extreme Tan and Smoothies, Inc. takes a tremendous amount of pride in supporting local charity events as well as national charities like Toys for Tots, we continue to show support for local area schools and child gun safety.
This year Extreme wants to help out families in need during the holiday season, as everyone knows the economy has put many families in some very terrible situations. In the past we have donated enough food during Thanksgiving to feed over 200 families thanks to Metropolitan Ministries of Tampa, an organization that feeds families in need thanks to donations received by amazing individuals that find a way to help out and companies like Extreme Tan and Smoothies that want to help out during the toughest times.
On December 11, 2009 Extreme Tan and Smoothies will kick off our very first FREE Tan for a Can food drive at all six of our indoor tanning salon locations, which include Clearwater tanning, Largo tanning, St. Petersburg tanning, Pinellas Park tanning, Seminole tanning and our North Clearwater Florida salon.
FREE Tan for a Can Food Drive Event
In order to receive a FREE Tan at any of our tanning salons simply grab a can of food from your pantry and head in to any of our locations on December 11, 12 or 13th and receive a free tan in any of our 20 minute extreme tanning beds. If your feeling super generous bring in a can each of those three days and tan free for all three days, existing tanning clients that have existing tanning bed packages will receive a free upgrade to any of our upgraded extreme tanning beds.

1 undamaged can = 1 Free Upgrade to Any Bed
5 undamaged cans = 3 Free Upgrades to Any Bed

Please keep in mind that any donated cans of food will be donated to the Metropolitan Ministries to help feed families during the holiday season, there is no limit to how many cans you can donate. Two weeks ago the Extreme Tan and Smoothies Hospitality Team invaded Seminole Florida with free tanning offers for local business employees currently working in the hospitality industry. Within a few short hours we were already receiving excellent feedback from our hospitality team members and most importantly everyone that we visited throughout the day, most importantly we had a great time doing it.
