If you’re new to indoor tanning or a tanning veteran, here’s some tips to improve your tanning experience.
– Use moisturizing lotion designed for indoor tanning. Outdoor suntan lotion can be bad for the bed and for you as well because it doesn’t provide the proper protection.
– Tanning indoors is safer than tanning out in the sun you still need to wear goggles or other protection for your eyes.
– Tanning longer than the suggested time can result in sunburns and skin damage.
– If it’s your first time tanning, especially if you have fair skin, start off with short amounts of time and work your way up.
– After you tan, use a skin moisturizer.
– If you have long hair, use a swim cap or put your hair up, so that it doesn’t stop you from getting an even tan.
– Don’t tan every day, tanning that often increases chances of damaging and or drying out your skin which can cause premature wrinkles.
